Sad. :-/)
6) Take dance classes or lessons again.
7) Visit a new state.
8) Move. November 4th, signed the papers for our first home! We bought a beautiful condo together. Moved in a week later. Just finished (March) painting the living room, dining room, and guest bathroom and just in time for 3/23/13, when we had a lovely housewarming party with Pepperoni pizza monkey bread and red velvet cupcakes.
9) Get a cat. Lyta and Ianto, both in August. They are both rescue kittens, and they are snuggles and love. ♥
10) Learn to do the three beat wave. (Poi)
11) Finish 28 scrapbook pages for the Hawaii book (I think finishing the whole book is a bit ambitious, but would be awesome!)
12) Grow an herb garden (and keep it alive long enough to harvest something!) In progress: Rosemary plant survived the winter! Planning planters for other assorted herbs now that its warming up.
13) Finish the home management binder. Always a work in progress, but its got food planning, budget, cleaning schedule, etc. I'm calling it good until I figure out what else I need.
14) Get scuba certified.
15) Learn to boogie board. Got the basics down! 7/8/12
16) Lose ten pounds. First benchmark reached 9/3/12! I'm looking at going for 20 pounds now. 1/21/13 Made lifetime with weight watchers, officially lost 20 pounds at my best. (Average more like 18 most of the time.) :)
17) Run a 5k.
18) Complete a 10 day real food (clean eating) challenge.
19) Go for a hike in the mountains.
20) Go to the outer banks, NC with Brian.
Late July/early August. I'm counting two things here; the trip with my mom and Steve to Atlantic Beach and surrounding attractions in July AND the trip to Edenton in August when we went to Captain's Quarters Inn. They had a FANTASTIC rib university. Expect a post soon about that! 21) Make date night jar to kick start weekly date nights.
22) Do a wine tasting.
1/19/13 Adam's Vineyard. Muscadine grapes, it was a neat experience! 23) Take a crafty class (cake decorating, painting, knitting, scrapbooking... something!)
24) Try Zumba.
25) Go on a roadtrip. Home again home again! 7/10/12 Brian and I drove from NC to NY with a leg up to see friends in Boston. 3 weeks away from home, and we had a blast! Thanks boo, for doing all of the driving! (Dr's orders, on suspected "tennis elbow". :p)
26) Revamp blog; add recipe index, printable recipes, and link domain name. Half done: Added recipe index (6/15/13, so maybe cheating a little), got print link installed. Just need to link the domain name already!!
27) Make the perfect chocolate cake. Calling this one half done: Made a good chocolate cake, but think I can do better. Love the new icing recipe though!
28) Make christmas ornaments.
